1. Who we are

EFUGY 3D Slicer is developed and distributed by Rule Mobile LLC. This policy explains how the iPhone and iPad app and its related support pages handle information.

2. Information the app does not collect

The current App Store disclosure states that the developer does not collect data from this app. EFUGY does not require an account or cloud slicing, use an advertising identifier, or display third-party ads in the app.

3. Local files and app settings

When a user imports an STL, OBJ, or supported G-code file, EFUGY uses that file locally to display the model, analyze print readiness, generate previews, slice supported workflows, or prepare an export. The app may store selected settings, printer profiles, recent workflow state, and preferences on the device so the app can function.

Rule Mobile does not receive local model files, exported G-code, printer settings, or preferences unless the user intentionally sends them, such as in a support email.

4. Optional support emails

When the user chooses a bug-report, suggestion, or email link, EFUGY may open a pre-filled message addressed to info@rulemobile.com. The user decides whether to send it and what to include.

A support message may contain information the user supplies, including screenshots, printer details, app version, device model, iOS version, and a description of the issue. Rule Mobile uses this information to respond, troubleshoot, maintain the app, and improve product quality.

5. Exports and third-party destinations

EFUGY can save or share files through iOS document and sharing workflows. When the user selects Files, AirDrop, Mail, Messages, cloud storage, external storage, or another app, that destination’s privacy policy, security, and retention rules apply.

6. Optional local-network transfer

Version 3 includes optional transfer to compatible Klipper/Moonraker printers. When a user configures an endpoint and chooses that action, EFUGY may request iOS Local Network permission and send the selected G-code or related requests to that user-selected device on the local network. The printer, Moonraker service, network equipment, and any extensions are controlled by the user or their provider—not Rule Mobile.

Local-network transfer is not required for core slicing, preview, or Files export.

7. Website and hosting data

Visiting an EFUGY or Rule Mobile web page may create standard hosting and security logs, such as request time, requested page, browser type, referring page, and IP address. Squarespace, domain, email, and commerce providers may process data according to their own policies when their services are used.

8. Children

EFUGY is a general 3D-printing utility and is not directed to children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes a child sent personal information to Rule Mobile, contact info@rulemobile.com for review.

9. Retention and choices

Local files and settings remain under the device and iOS controls until the user deletes them, deletes the app, or removes exported files from their selected destination. Support emails are retained only as reasonably needed for support, troubleshooting, business records, legal compliance, and app quality.

  • Users may choose not to send support email.
  • Users may delete exported files from the destination where they saved them.
  • Users may delete the app to remove app-local data managed by iOS.
  • Users may contact Rule Mobile about a support message they sent.

10. Changes

Rule Mobile may update this policy when the app, support workflow, service providers, or legal requirements change. The page will show a revised effective date.
