When you contact support
Show us where the problem started.
Include the installed version, whether EFUGY sliced the model or opened raw G-code, the preview mode and layer, key settings, printer profile, and transfer method.
Send useful details
Send the details that help us find it.
Do not email proprietary or sensitive model files unless you are comfortable sharing them with Rule Mobile and the email providers involved.
App and device
EFUGY version, iPhone or iPad model, iOS/iPadOS version, available storage, and whether the issue repeats after reopening the app.
Printer and material
Manufacturer, exact model, firmware, nozzle, extruder changes, material brand/type, and any profile edits.
Model and steps
STL or OBJ, approximate file size, model source, import route, exact actions, and the screen where something went wrong.
What to attach
A screenshot, short screen recording, warning text, or redacted G-code header can help. Remove personal paths, names, and confidential geometry.
QREATTE Slice1
The factory Moonraker connection is supported.
Use the printer’s local address with port 7125, a blank route prefix, and no API key unless its authorization settings were changed. No printer-side edit is required.
Before the printer starts
Check the file and the machine.
3D printers use heat, motion, electricity, and material-specific processes. Review the exported G-code, confirm temperatures and dimensions, keep clear of hot or moving parts, use appropriate ventilation, and follow the printer and material makers’ guidance.
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to common setup questions.
What files can I import?
EFUGY currently imports STL and OBJ model files and can generate and preview G-code for supported printer profiles. 3MF and STEP are not listed as supported formats.
Does EFUGY require a cloud account?
No. Core slicing and preview work on the device. If you choose Files, AirDrop, Mail, cloud storage, or another sharing destination, that destination’s rules apply.
Does a profile mean my printer is fully compatible?
No. A profile supplies starting machine settings. Check how the profile was tested, then preview and try it on your exact printer.
Where should I report a wrong profile?
Email info@rulemobile.com with the printer model, firmware, nozzle, app version, and the value that looks wrong. A manufacturer link or physical measurement helps.
Can EFUGY send G-code to my printer over Wi-Fi?
Version 3 includes optional local-network transfer to compatible Klipper/Moonraker printers. A compatible endpoint on the same network is required, the Local Network permission may appear, and preview plus a safe dry run remain necessary. Files and standard iOS sharing remain available when local transfer is not.
How do I export for an original M3D Micro or Micro+?
Select the matching M3D profile and choose Share M3D Desktop Host File. Move that file to the computer running the stock M3D desktop app, which remains responsible for printer setup and USB communication. Read the M3D export guide.
Can I use the factory Slice1 Moonraker setup?
Yes. Use port 7125, leave the route prefix blank, and keep the API key off unless authorization was changed. Files and Fluidd remain available as a manual transfer path.
